This week in Kindergarten we are about to embark on 100th Day Of School Celebrations. It was this time last year when we had went to contract on our house and attended our sneak peak into Kindergarten. I could not imagine my main man would be going into Kindergarten .
1st Day of School
When the paper came home from Nicholas’ teacher about 100th day activities a tear came to my eyes. ( I know when don’t I cry) Wasn’t it just yesterday we celebrated Back to School ? How could this be possible? Can 1st grade be so close? Is half the school year really over?
We were given the task to put 100 of something in a brown lunch bag and write three clues for his class to guess. We thought and thought about what we could do that would not be done and came up with TOOTHBRUSHES.. after all it is National Children’s Dental Health Month, who else would have access to 100 toothbrushes but me and no one would spend $4.00 a toothbrush to bring them into school.
Main Man 100th Day of School
So now that the week has come for the 100th Day of School I am wondering what can we do at home to celebrate? Should I make a special dinner, bake a cake or cookies. Do we even celebrate the 100th day of School at home? I love to celebrate everything that happens in main man’s life but should this be one celebration that only happens in school?
When I Googled 100th day of school, tons of activities popped up on Pinterest that could be used in a classroom but nothing that was done at home.
So Main Mama’s I am wondering do you celebrate the 100th Day of School in your house?
